Young horror fans, pay attention! The Big Banyan Tree and Other Ghost Stories was written specifically for you

The Big Banyan Tree and Other Ghost Stories was a delightful collection of young adult horror. It’s something that should be read by preteens and teens who love getting scared as well as by adults who are just beginning to dip their toes into this genre. -Review by GingerNutsofHorror.com

3.0 out of 5 stars!!!

"The book started really well. I absolutely liked "The Drunkard" (really eerie), "My Pet Dog" (sad, great animal story), "A Murder of Crows" (I love scary scarecrows) and Block C (desolate working conditions). The other stories were also well written.....If you want to read some well composed stories with a shot of well dosed horror, everyday occurrences and an Indian everyday reality you definitely should stop by and start with Vol. 1 of the author's stories. I enjoyed the prose, the ideas behind and can recommend the book!" - Peter (GoodReads)

13 Unusual Short Stories

Dear Reader,

It gives me a great sense of joy to put together this collection of short stories. Some are folklore, some are my childhood experiences and some just a figment of my imagination!!
All the short stories are an easy read and explore human emotions, relationships and the supernatural.
Set either in one of the big cities or in one of India’s numerous small towns and villages, they give a glimpse into the lives of common folk. The stories have an exciting twist at the end which makes them ‘unusual’. The stories will make you cry and laugh and send an occasional shiver down your spine!! Even though the stories are short and crisp, hopefully, they will stay with you for a long time!
